Have you ever had scar? Well for most women, this is like their worst nightmares. Usually you will get this from childhood incident, minor accident or even on acne scars can happen. We can say that accident is an inevitable event that most people encounter; scars can also be part of it.
So how do scars formed?
Our skin has different layers and one of the layer is called dermis, when this layer is damaged or injured your body tend to produce elements to make the healing faster which is also called collagen.
This elements sound to be very useful right? Yes it is, but this is also the reason why scars are formed. This is turned into a cell that contract and pull wound tightly together.
The turned cells are the same type of proteins that a normal skin have, but even though they have the same cell they have different compositions.
You can notice that scars do not contain sweat glands or any hair follicles; this is also the same reason why scars have a smoother complexion but usually are itchy.
There are also different types of scars but whatever scars you have it is still annoying and not good to look, right?
So here’s some quick and easy way to treat your scar:
1. Traditional Treatment
So what do you mean by traditional treatment?
This is the usual treatment that people do to remove their scar, this is usually faster but costly. This can be laser treatments, dermabrasion and some scar removal cream.
Laser treatments is very effective for acne scars which obvious is done by acne but this is quite painful and takes several session to complete.
Dermabrasion is a treatment where they use a brush to create a new wound so a fresh layer of skin will be form under the scab.
2. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice is also a useful for treating scars. You can notice that some scars end up looking darker that your skin tone which makes it ugly looking. Let’s say that they aren’t raised up, the discoloration can still be obvious way to tell or spot a scar.
Applying a moderate amount of lemon juice to the scar can help lighten up the scar; basically the acidic liquid will help fade the dark color.
Apply the lemon juice to the scar for 15 minutes and rinse it with clean water.
3. Cocoa Butter
This is a homemade treatment to fade ugly scars. This can help to reduce the harsh look of a scar and in some cases it permanently gets rid of it. But that is not as easy as it is; you need to do this every day and must spend some months before you see the result.
The scar can disappear depending on how the scar is, if it is a minor scar then more likely it will disappear in just a few months.
4. Olive Oil
Olive oil has a different benefit when it comes to treatment and remedies.
Aside from reducing cholesterol and other cosmetics reasons it can also be utilize to improve the skin by reducing or fading the look of scars with its elevated quantities of vitamin E and K.
When olive oil is combined with baking soda it tends to exfoliate dead skin and can result to much healthier skin.
5. Aloe Vera
This plant is very easy to plant and most plant lovers have this at home.
Aloe Vera is also well known for its ability to cool and soothe irritated skin, but this is also a topical treatment which is used to apply it directly to the scar to reduce the appearance of it. But just like other treatment for scar the result for the application of this can be seen in a few months.
Although this is a well known treatment for scars there are some people who have an allergic reaction for some plant like this. It is better to consult a medical professional when experience an unusual side effects.
Having a scar can be the worst nightmare of a women right? But with the right process and long patience this can be treated and can disappear permanently.
